About Camay

Hi. I’m Camay.
One of the first steps to healing is asking for help. For many, this first step is the most difficult. So let me be one of the first of many to say I am proud of you for getting this far!

I believe that people go through their childhood and adolescence surviving the best they can with what they have and once they reach adulthood, the tools they have are no longer as helpful as they once were. Children and adolescents will navigate through natural stages of development all the while experiencing many changes and challenges. These experiences continue to shape that individual throughout their life and their view of the world around them. However, I believe that for many, had they been given an opportunity to face their challenges with the proper support and guidance they may have avoided the deep lows of depression, the panic and fear of anxiety, and the heartache of trauma.

These beliefs are what inspired me to dedicate myself to my passion of helping others. I am here to provide you with the support and tools that a younger you needed in order to build resiliency against the many challenges you have already experienced thus far. With me by your side, you no longer have to endure those challenges alone. Allow me to help you cope with your present stressors by navigating your past so that you can experience your future through a new perspective. Call our office today for a free consultation and take the opportunity to learn if I am the right fit to help you.

My Approach & Values

As a therapist who first practices from a person-centered approach, it is my responsibility to ensure that you have a safe, trusting, and therapeutic environment to share your story. As much as I strive to offer you a calming and welcoming space, I understand that trust is earned and I will do my best to help you feel comfortable sharing your story with me when you feel you are ready. I want you to view our working alliance as a collaborative partnership because you are the expert of your life and I am here to guide you through life’s toughest challenges. At the end of our time together, because I believe that you don’t need to be in therapy for years, I hope you look back on the work you did in and out of my office as a moment of healing alongside a caring, nonjudgmental, and empathetic passenger.
