About Sarah
Hi. I’m Sarah.
First, congratulations on taking your first step to becoming the best version of yourself. I understand firsthand how scary it can be to reach out for help, especially when you don’t know if the person you are choosing to share your story with is the right person for you. It can be overwhelming, but with the right therapist and right approach, you can change your life!
Making the decision to seek mental health counseling is a courageous decision. I’m so proud of you for taking this first step as you deserve to live a life free from the weight of the past. It is important to find a professional with whom you feel safe and heard. Trusting your story to just anyone will not give you the results you deserve. This is why we always offer a free phone consultation to be sure that I can meet your specific needs. You do not need to spend months or years in therapy in order to see results. You have the ability to heal and become a better version of yourself. You do not need to continue to repeat the past. I’m here to walk alongside you as we work together to process the past and redefine who you are.
Call me today for a free consultation! If during that call, I believe your needs are not within my expertise, I will make sure I connect you with the right therapist. Because that is the service that your story deserves.
My Approach & Values
“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you go; they merely determine where you start.” – Nido Quebein
Everyone deserves to be heard and understood in a safe and welcoming environment. It is my goal to cultivate a healthy and positive therapeutic relationship that will be the foundation of our work together. The goal is to come alongside you and guide you during your journey. It is not to pass judgement. You are accepted exactly as you are at this moment. You may have mental health struggles but those struggles do not define who you are as a person. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but you are not the rain!
I specialize in working with young children, teenagers, and individuals who struggle with emotional distress. I can assist with depression, anxiety, trauma and grief. I enjoy working with parents to learn effective discipline strategies to manage challenging behaviors observed in children.
